The window above hangs in the front office of our school, visible from Puketahi Street.
St Patrick's School commissioned local artist and parent Denise Dwyer to design the window and she gave the following information about her inspiration in designing the window.

Symbols contained in the Window:
- Cross symbolising the cross of Christ
- The Koru symbolising New Zealand
- The shamrock, representing the Holy Trinity and St Patrick
- Ferns of the West Coast
- Circle shape symbolising the earth
- The "M" for our Marist charism
- The Mercy Shield representing our Mercy charism
- Green- symbolic of the Marist tradition
- Marian Blue
- Gold representing Christ "the light of the world"
